How We Work With Districts

Four Ways to Partner With ALN

By anchoring high-quality practices into your strategic planning, we ensure your vision leads to measurable student growth and a future where every learner excels.

"All Learners Network has allowed
us to have common language, common understanding, common tools about how kids are learning math. They not only gave us a roadmap, but gave us the tools, and it made a huge impact on the way our teachers think about the way they teach math."

Frequently Asked Questions

What does All Learners Network do for schools and districts?

All Learners Network (ALN) partners with K-12 schools and districts across the country to improve math achievement through professional development, instructional coaching, and educator tools. ALN's approach centers on inclusive math instruction grounded in evidence-based practice, helping every teacher reach every student, including those with IEPs, English language learners, and students working below grade level. Services include in-person and virtual PD, embedded coaching, and institutional access to the All Learners Online platform.

What grades does All Learners Network serve?

ALN serves educators across PK-12, with the deepest content coverage in PK-8. The All Learners Online platform contains resources and courses for grades PK-8, and the AI Math Coach supports grades K-8. In-person and virtual professional development services are available for K-12 school communities.

Is All Learners Network only for math teachers?

No. While ALN's expertise is in math instruction, their services are designed for the full range of educators who touch math learning: classroom teachers, special education teachers, math interventionists, instructional coaches, paraprofessionals, math leaders, and district curriculum directors. Programs are built to create shared language and aligned practice across an entire school or district team.

What types of professional development does All Learners Network offer?

ALN offers four core service types for schools and districts. In-person professional development includes full-day or multi-day workshops delivered on-site, focused on inclusive math instruction and the High Leverage Concepts framework. Virtual professional development offers live, interactive online sessions with the same instructional depth. Instructional coaching provides ongoing, job-embedded support for teachers and math leaders, in-person or virtual. Institutional access to All Learners Online gives every educator in a school or district on-demand resources and AI Math Coach access year-round.

Can All Learners Network provide professional development for an entire school or district, not just individual teachers?

Yes. ALN specializes in systemic, school-wide and district-wide professional development. Rather than one-time workshops, ALN works with schools and districts in an ongoing partnership model, building internal capacity so that instructional improvements last long after ALN's direct involvement. The Systems Change service is designed specifically for districts ready for full institutional transformation.

Does All Learners Network offer virtual professional development?

Yes. All of ALN's services are available in virtual formats, including workshops, coaching, and consulting. Districts in Vermont, Colorado, Illinois, Louisiana, Maryland, Nevada, and across the country have used virtual delivery to extend ALN's support between in-person visits or to reach educators at multiple school sites simultaneously. Virtual delivery uses the same curriculum and facilitation approach as in-person programs.

How does All Learners Network support students with IEPs or learning differences?

Inclusive math instruction is at the core of everything ALN does. ALN's framework is designed so that general education teachers, special education teachers, and interventionists work from shared practices, shared language, and shared instructional materials. This means students with IEPs are not pulled out into a separate, unrelated curriculum. They experience the same high-quality math instruction as their peers, supported by educators who have aligned their approaches. Learn more about ALN's instructional framework.

What is the High Leverage Concepts framework?

High Leverage Concepts (HLCs) are the mathematical ideas that research identifies as having the greatest impact on student learning in PK-8 mathematics. ALN's professional development and coaching are built around helping educators teach these concepts in ways that are accessible to every learner. Rather than covering the entire curriculum at the same depth, HLCs help teachers prioritize where to invest instructional time. Learn more about ALN's HLC framework.

How much does professional development from All Learners Network cost?

ALN's service costs vary depending on the scope, duration, delivery format, and number of educators served. Individual workshop engagements, multi-session coaching packages, and full district partnerships are all priced differently. The best way to get an accurate estimate for your school or district is to book a discovery call with the ALN team. Most district-level partnerships are negotiated annually and can be structured to align with grant funding cycles.

Does ALN work with urban, suburban, and rural districts?

Yes. ALN has partnered with a wide range of district types: urban districts like West Aurora Schools (IL) and Renew New Orleans Schools (LA), smaller suburban and rural districts like Burlington School District (VT) and Southwest Vermont Supervisory Union (VT), and mid-size districts like Cecil County Public Schools (MD) and Clark County SD (NV). The HLC framework and coaching model are designed to be context-adaptable, not one-size-fits-all.

How is All Learners Network different from other math PD providers?

ALN's approach differs in three key ways. First, inclusive math instruction is not an add-on for ALN. It is the foundation of everything, meaning the same instructional framework serves both general education and special education teachers. Second, ALN works at the system level, aligning teacher practice, school leadership, and curriculum frameworks rather than delivering isolated workshops. Third, ALN uses the High Leverage Concepts framework, a research-based prioritization of the mathematical ideas with the greatest impact on PK-8 learning. Learn more about ALN's approach.

Can ALN's professional development align to our state standards or existing curriculum?

Yes. ALN's workshops and coaching are designed to complement, not replace, your district's existing curriculum. Facilitators work with your team to align ALN's instructional strategies to your adopted materials and to state standards in your region. Districts in multiple states, including Vermont, Colorado, Illinois, Maryland, Louisiana, and Nevada, have implemented ALN's framework alongside their existing math curricula.

How do we get started with All Learners Network?

The first step is a discovery conversation with the ALN team. In that call, ALN learns about your district's goals, challenges, and current instructional context, and recommends the service or combination of services that fits best. There is no commitment required to have that initial conversation. Book a call with ALN to get started.

What results have schools and districts seen from working with All Learners Network?

Partner districts have reported meaningful improvements in teacher confidence, instructional alignment, and student engagement in math. Leaders who have implemented ALN's framework describe seeing shifts in educator attitudes toward inclusive math practice and observable changes in how students approach mathematical reasoning. Partners include Burlington School District (VT), Thompson School District (CO), West Aurora Schools (IL), Renew New Orleans Schools (LA), Winooski School District (VT), Cecil County Public Schools (MD), Clark County SD (NV), and others across the Northeast, Midwest, South, and beyond.

Is ALN's approach evidence-based? What research backs it up?

Yes. ALN's instructional framework is grounded in decades of research on math education, intervention science, and inclusive pedagogy. The High Leverage Concepts framework draws on research about priority learning progressions in elementary and middle school mathematics. ALN has also published a book on inclusive math instruction, and team members have contributed to the scholarly literature on math equity. For districts requiring evidence documentation for grant compliance, ALN can provide supporting materials. Learn more about ALN's research foundation.
